RIO is a flexible Corporate
Data-Store for information coming from producing fields.
RIO is used by production and
reservoir engineers, as well as geologists and petrophysicists
and provides an environment where data from different
departments is integrated
and reconciled.
All of the data is tied together
to ensure data integrity and promote quality
assurance of the data.
Key Benefits
Easy to use – very few people have had any kind of formal training
in the application yet most people are functional within
15 minutes of being exposed to it.
Timely access
to information – the main grid in Rio is one of the single most powerful
tools in the whole system. Within seconds, a user (whether
a manager or a technical professional) can have the
answer to most of their commonly asked questions.
The main grid
supports sorting, grouping, summing, averaging, and
formatting - giving the user an incredible amount of
control over the way he/she would like to see their
data. Full WYSIWYG reporting is available from this
grid.
Integrated
and reconciled data – the relationships between the different types of data
are maintained within the database thereby ensuring
data integrity even if the data is manipulated through
the "backdoor".
Stable – very few errors. When
there is an error, it is emailed to the developers allowing
us to take a proactive role in correcting the mistakes
(usually before the user even reports them).
Fast – None of the queries take more than a couple of seconds
with most executing in less than one second.

for Well Tests, Monthly Volumes, Bottom Hole Pressures
and Directional Surveys used for technical analysis

Compatible with MicroSoft tools: almost all data in
the system can be exported to Excel with the click of
a button.
